Outer Space is a Course located in F-Zero AX.
Overview[]
Outer Space was once a Space Colony, but it was hit by a large group of meteorites and was rendered useless. The F-ZERO execution project was able to request that a race track be made from what was left of the station. Though successful, the track is full of dangerous hazards. Every F-Zero pilot fears this place.
Appearance in the games[]
The Outer Space venue only appears in F-Zero GX (as an AX Cup race) and F-Zero AX. It features a single circuit configuration called "Meteor Stream".
It is a fairly straightforward circuit whose only noteworthy obstacle are a series of tunnels through the beginning portion that are entirely covered in slip zones, including along the ceiling. The second such tunnel occurs during a twisting section that rotates the track. The remainder of the course passes through a split sweeping turn where the drivers can choose to pass through two different pit zones or a pathway with extra boost plates before returning to the Start/Finish line.

- This course is played during the Tutorial Demo in F-Zero AX.
- Tied with Cosmo Terminal, Outer Space has only one track to itself.
- This could be a counterpart to Cosmo Terminal. As Outer Space is mainly for AX, while Cosmo Terminal exists only for GX.
- This circuit, along with Meteor Storm, is also featured in Lap 10, Double Jeopardy, in the F-Zero anime.
